Leah turned on the car and pulled away from her parking spot. A quick thought made her wonder if Sky was going to be ok on the ride home. Luckily she didn't live far away about five or ten minutes and they would be home.

Sky flicked her ears around as she kept tabs on what was happening outside the trailer. She snorted and swayed with the vehicle as it bumped down the road.

Soon they were home and the fist thing she did after she parked the car was going to check up on Sky. The night before Leah had prepared the stall for the horse she was planning to buy which ended up being Sky. Unlatching the trailer door, she wispered "Hi girl, we're home."

Sky lifted her head from its' resting place and she gazed at Leah. Her nose twitched as she sniffed at the new smell that was to be her home.

"You want to come out?" Leah asked glancing to the barn where the stall was. She had laied fresh straw for bedding and it was a nice sized one too. The pasture was also looking nice for the new horse to be able to go and roam around in.

Sky paused for a few more moments and continued to smell the air. Once she was sure that there was nothing threatening outside, waiting to hurt her, she nodded slowly.

"Ok, then lets go to your knew stall." Leah told the mare and grabbed her lead rope. Leah took a few small steps and waited for the mare to follow her. Reaching out, Leah stroked the mare to comfort her.

Sky paused once more before taking a few delicate steps backwards to unload form the trailer. She snorted and looked around her with her head high as she caught her first glimpses of her new home.

"Good girl, lets go." Leah whispered to the mare. The barn that Sky's stall was in wasn't to far from where she had parked the trailer, she had done that for a reason. Once Sky had gotted used to her new home then maybe Leah could walk around with her on the land and release her to the pasture.

Sky gave a soft snort and slowly walked with Leah. Her head was high, ears pricked and eyes alert as she moved away from the trailer and towards the barn.

"Come on girl, not much farther." Leah told the mare, Sky. "Your stall is nice, I fixed it up for you before I left. New straw, fresh water, and once you get in your stall I will put in some new feed." A smile could be heard in the voice that mumbled to the mare.

Sky looked around as she walked with Leah to the barn. This place looked different then all the others. it had a different air to it, a different feel. She gave a soft snort and relaxed a little as she moved.

As they entered the barn Leah patted the mare lightly. After she opened up the fresh stall she whispered, " This is your knew home girl." Leah walked in a waited for the mare to follow her.

Sky stopped just outside the stable and lowered her head. Once her head was lowered she slightly raised a hind hoof, warning others to be aware. Because he head was down and she was investigating the straw on the floor she coldn't see everything else and was ready to kick if she felt the need to. After a while of sniffing and prodding at the straw she took a few steps into the stable and stopped again once she was just in her new home.

"Do you like it?" Leah asked the mare, noticeing the horse's body language was telling her that she was alert. "Would you like me to stay with you for a while, or would you want to stay here by yourself?"
