Leah sighed, then figured out a few math problems. Once she had finished the math, she started to write a story for ELA. Her story was about the Chinese Zodiac, it was about each animal. She felt as if this was what she wanted to write for ELA, it was a free write so she didn't have a topic to write about. The graphite stoked the paper with each word she wrote, the story of the banquet becomeing longer and longer. It was based on the old legend of the Zodiac, the once her mom used to tell her at night time.

Ty had become calm once more. The breeze teased his hair around into his eyes and he slowly reache dup a hand to brush it away. His legs began to ache so he sat normally on the wooden sill. From here he could see the streets aroud him. Glancing at one house he could see Leah writing away. A small smile came to his face without him knowing so.

Leah smiled lightly as she finished the paper and slipped it into the pocket folder she kept for ELA. Hands working with the back pack to slip the crimson folder into the backpack, she wondered why she had started to think about the Zodiac stoy and it was starting to confuse her. Trying to shrug it off, she pulled her math homework and started working with the problems on there to get her mind off of it.

Ty gave a small smile now, meaning too. He shook his head and glanced at the ground beneath him. He looked back up at Leah as she wrote away in her book. He lent his left shoulder against the window frame and gazed at her. Deciding to get her attention her whisted loudly to her, the sound piercing the air around him.

Leah's head jerked up quickly, deep blue eyes wide. Her head turned to the window she had opened earlier, that is where that sound came from; the whistle that could be heard through the thick leafy forests that surrounded her house and a few others. She looked around, seeing only green leaves and dull tree trunks. Leah sighed, not being able to identify where the sound was coming from, for all she knew it could have been a bird, but she knew it sounded much more like a whistle.

The smile widened as he saw that Leah was looking for where the sound had come from. He whistled again and jumped down from his window, landing with a soft thud on the ground. He got to his feet and hopped over his garden fence, entering the forest that surrounded Leahs' house.

Leah suddenly heard the high pitched whiste again, this time it was followed with a soft thud but it was still loud enough to be heard from her house. Did someone fall? A head peeked out the window nervously, then she heard it; the sound of footsteps through the forest. Less worry was shown now, because if someone did fall, they weren't injuered.

Ty pushed through the final bushes that were in his path and was met with a fence. He glanced up over it and smiled as he saw Leah looking out her window. He gave one short blast of a whistle up to her and waited to see if she would spot him.

Leah hear a slight rustle through the bushes, then another whistle. This whistle seemed closer and it took her by suprize, causing her to fall backwards with a slight shriek that echoed through the woods. It took her a while for her to get back on her feet but soon she was back at this window, this time brown tresses spiraled around her face as she looked downwards. What she saw took her by suprise, "...Ty...?" She said in a confused tone as she stared down at him.

''Hey.'' He said with a small soft chuckle, ''You alright?'' he asked with genuine concern in his voice. He brushed his unusal coloured hair out of his eyes and gazed up at the window in which she stood.

Her eyes were wide from the fall, her bottem a bit sore already. "Yeah... I guess..." She mumbled just loud enough for him to hear. "But what I am more concered about is the fact that you know where I live, and that you came to visit..." Leah looked at him, worries filled her; She didn't have a mom anymore, and soon she would have to forclose on the house. If anyone found out she was alone then she might be tooken to an orphenage; that was the last place she wanted to be. Leah would have rather slept outside.

Ty shrugged and lent against a tree, ''I was sitting by my window and poked my head out. I noticed that you were sitting by your window. I got bored with my homework and thought that a chat with you would be better.'' He replied, giving one of his charming smiles. ''I also wanted to apologise for my behaviour earlier.''

"Oh..." She suddenly recalled what had happened earlier. "Its ok." She said with a smile. Leah was temted to invite him inside but the house was very dirty, and there were so many pictures of her mom and dad that it would be obvious that they were dead.

''So, i was wondering if you would like a break from all your work, don't want to overdo yourself.'' He said in a soft tone as the leaves around him rustled gently.

"Ok... I guess I can do that..." She told him and listened to the soft sound of the wind through the trees. What would she do when the house was not hers anymore? Would she have to live in the woods?
